Recordings appear to capture Recep Tayyip Erdogan instructing son to dispose of hidden funds amid corruption investigation
Turkish opposition parties called on the prime minister to resign on Tuesday as a result of an explosive corruption scandal in which he was allegedly caught on tape ordering his son to get rid of millions of dollars in incriminating cash.
Turkey phone-tapping scandal erupts
Pro-government media in Turkey accuse prosecutors loyal to cleric Fethullah Gulen of illegally tapping thousands of phones to destabilise the government.
Phone records are leaked between Prime Minister R.T. Erdogan and his son Bilal Erdogan about the corruption in the country.
Strange things are happening right now in Turkey. There were many rumors about the corruption in the country made by the leaders. Our mighty (!) prime minister denied and said that they were the acts of sabotage.
